What a Wonderful 'Fight' to the Top

As if politics in the real world isn't dirty enough. This week has been the campaign week for all of the candidates for the SGA spot. Now, honestly just by the look of how the speeches/ debates went, I would NOT want to be a part of our "lovely" student government.
Just like any other political speech, the crowd was filled with supporters, commentators, haters, and um... me. As I sat and watched each class seat candidate and royal court candidate take the stage, I just HAVE to say that the jokes were definitely on them. Words were spoken incorrectly, beat boxing sound effects played as a soundtrack to every answer... I could not even take it seriously.
But, the real show was during the "TAKEOVER" (Longley and Curry) campaign and the "M&M" (Morgan and Monu) campaign. Daggers disguised as questions were thrown at each party from the audience (I wish I had my popcorn out during this one). It was a sight to see as Team Takeover literally yelled at the audience. But, I think I know who may have recieved the upper-hand throughout this friendly fight... Plus, I love peanut m & ms.
