Early last week, talented designer, Luella Bartley, shocked the fashion world when she announced that her Luella fashion label will be closing. Due to the poor economy, the label has stopped trading and has loss one of its main suppliers, Club 21. Bartley's licensed supplier, withdrew their partnership and decided to discontinue investing with the designer. More on the sad end, when you 'Read More'.
Just last month, Luella's Italian production company, Carla Carini, had shut down, therefore, her designs, which debuted for Spring's 2010 Fashion Week will never be created.

Since it's launch, about a decade ago, Bartley's fashions has been donned as "the London cool" by American Vogue. Only a year ago, was it that Bartley was honored by the British Fashion Awards as Designer of the Year. Fashion lovers from all over are expressing their disappointment with the end of the chic fashion line. Once found in Target stores, for the chain company's GO International fashion line, the demographics for Luella lovers quickly increased.

With hopes of the restoration of the label, designers, consumers, and admirers of Luella Bartley and her fashions, continue to show tremendous support.
