As I am sure that you all must have heard, Beyonce's latest single, Who Run the World (Girls), from her upcoming fourth solo album, the slightly annoying techno rifts, and the chanting throughout, did not sit well with me as I listened through the air waves.
Yet, after Lady Bey's appearance on last night's, American Idol, with the last three remaining finalists, she premiered only about half of the video. But, that's all that needed to be shown for us to go crazy for her all over again. Between the couture dresses, structured accessories, and killer choreography, the song has definitely won me over.

Beyonce's long time stylist, Ty Hunter, was definitely on his java juice for this shoot. With some looks pulled from Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, and Jean Paul Gaultier, the va-va- VOOM effect of the video was very... #TEAMBEYONCETAKEOVER?
Great mixes of detail, grunge, elegance, shock value, and definitely empowerment of the female race was depicted in the video, directed by Francis Lawrence.
Before the music sparks up, a wide view of Miss B and her 'entourage' flashes the screen. The powerful cat in this shot though is not the lion, resting by her side, but the ladies themselves. Beyonce' strikes a stance wearing Alexander McQueen's, red silk, satin dress, adorned with hand-stitched, gold embroidery. A look that was one of the most popular in his Fall 2010 line.
As the beat drops in the beginning, the face off between the GIRLS and the guys begins. Donning a gold chained and beaded head piece, Beyonce begins her strut wearing Norma Kamali, black, fringed, high wasited shorts, with a bold gold harness, and low-heeled Alexander Wang heels.
The next look is the feeling of a warrior goddess, taming to hyenas in the wild. The elegant, long white dress, lightly adorned with with feathers, and a sheer white bodice, is from Givenchy's Couture Spring 2011.
Seen here, she's sporting a intricately cut-out, Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown.
One of the most stunning pieces, is from Gareth Pugh's Fall 2010 Collection. A textured, metallic gold scaled dress, with the matching gold boots. And you can't forget to mention her 'claw rings' as I call them.
For a fierce statement to pull in her 'girls', as they showed the guys what they got, Beyonce' chose a yellow Emilio Pucci dress, with a strategically placed cut-out, and slits on the sides drawing all the way up to the hips. The dress was paired with "Talisman" gladiator boots by Sergio Rossi.
Overall, the video was hot, but it may be because of the styling of Ty Hunter, or the directing of Lawrence. The song, before the video was released, was actually somewhat of a nuisance. Beyonce' whether you like her, or not, you can not say that she does not know how to put on a good show.
